Buying new guitars can be a bit daunting, but the most important thing to remember is that you get what you pay for.  The more expensive a guitar is, the better quality it will be.  Most places like Guitar Center, or Dietz Music will have guitars priced pretty reasonably, depending on the guitar.  But if you’re buying from a shady dealer, excercise caution.  In any case, it’s important to play the guitar before you buy it, making sure it is giving you the sound you want, and getting a feel for it.  Luckily the market for guitars is really big, and you are more than likely to find a guitar that suits you that is in your price range.
