Even though at the time it didn’t appear to be the best career path for me — since I struggled very early with the heavy course load — in hindsight, I couldn’t have asked for a better profession — tax accounting. As a junior tax accountant at the award-winning Sydney accounting firm ARW, I’m gaining the opportunity of a lifetime to work with some of the finest accountants sydney has to offer. Not only am I learning from the best in the business as far as I’m concerned, but I’m making a more-than-adequate living as well. It truly is the best of both worlds. Who would have thought that back in the early days?
