Can you stop panic attacks quickly and easily with mind-control

There are many ways to stop panic and anxiety disorders, but one in particular has been promoted recently and since this new technique has dangers inherent in it, I feel the need to speak out and ask a fundamental question to people suffering from these horrible attacks. And this is my medical question: will a simple technique that is based on controlling how one reacts to the events be enough to stop panic attacks? I think the answer is — quite clearly — No it is not. There is one very good reason why this technique cannot stop panic attacks. It is because the mind of the sufferer is not able to do anything during an attack. So how will the patient be able to stop and turn his thinking around during an episode. This is the weakness of this so-called panic treatment and I would not recommend it.
