Cheap Treadmills Can Support a Light Workout Routine

You’ve no doubt been told to stay away from a cheap treadmill when shopping for fitness equipment, and that advice is true for the most part.  But under certain conditions, that cut-rate machine in the discount store can be made to work for you.  First, you should weigh no more than 150 pounds so the small motor won’t burn out.  You should be a walker, not a runner, so you’ll always be using it at lower speeds and won’t be pounding the deck with your steps.  Finally, you should be using other workout methods along with the treadmill so you won’t wear it out using it every day.  Under these limited conditions, go ahead and buy the cheap model as an addition to your fitness routine.
