I tried to plan ahead and have everything my mom and dad would need when they moved from their house of 50 years into a small condo in Florida. We’d had a giant garage sale, getting rid of years and years worth of stuff. We’d pared everything down to the basics and were ready to start getting ready for the move. I spent about $100 on packing supplies like boxes, tape, and cardboard corners to go around the legs of furniture. The move was still very tedious and long and we could have used another three or four people to have helped us.
