A Bathtub With Door Provides Safety In The Bath

If you have an elderly or disabled family member who lives alone, consider installing a bathtub with door in his or her bathroom. A walk-in bathtub with door will insure that your family member will be safe while stepping in and out of a wet bathtub. Elderly and disabled people are especially at risk of slipping and falling in the bathtub, and a bathtub with door can help protect them from falling and becoming injured.

Many safety bathtubs also come with handles, and seats, allowing a person to sit comfortably in the bath, and hold the handle for support while entering the bath. Steps may also be installed to lead in or out of the bathtub with door. You cannot be there for your elderly or disabled family member twenty-four hours a day, but you can ensure that they are safe in the bathroom with a walk-in bathtub with door.
