We live in a culture today where old traditions are thrown out with the thought of any new thing, and that’s not necessarily bad. I’ll gladly take indoor plumbing over an outhouse in the backyard anyday. What I’m talking about is throwing out traditions in weddings. Of course, a wedding is all about the bride and her wedding day, but I’ll probably never understand red wedding dresses.

Red wedding dresses may not be a hot new trend in wedding day attire, but they are starting to be more sought after than ever before. For those of us traditionalists out there who associate white with weddings, it has come as a bit of a shock. After all, aren’t white wedding dresses supposed to be something symbolic, lovely and pure?
