Even with a chart, Ira Minimun Distribution is not easy to figure out

Now that I am seventy and a half, I need to figure some things out with my retirement accounts.  Most importantly, I need to figure out what my Ira Minimun Distribution will be each year.  The IRS requires that I have to take out a certain amount out of my retirement account each year.  My daughter told me about this chart online to help me figure this out, but I’ve been reading it for hours on end with no success.  There are too many things that do not make sense to me.  I should have listened to my husband and hired a tax accountant, he could have figured all this out for me.
