My brother and his wife recently purchased a new above ground pool.  They were very excited since they had never had a pool before.  Where they live it is very cool even in the summer.  They were concerned  because the water might be to cold for anyone to go swimming.  There daughter recommended to them to purchase a swimming pool solar cover. She said even though it’s cool outside the cover would keep the water warm.  It would also prevent evaporation of the chemicals which would save them a substantial amount of money.  What was great about this cover is they could swim as early as spring and late into the fall.
