Like everyone else, I could use a little extra money these days.  I have been seeing a lot of signs and commercials asking for people to trade in their old gold jewelry, so I decided to give it a try.  My wife and I rummaged through her jewelry box and my “junk” drawers to find what we had.  I pulled out my knotted up necklace that I haven’t put on since 1992.  She found some old rings and a bracelet that I gave her years ago.  In the end it turned out to be true, todays gold prices are high enough that we walked out with about two hundred dollars.
