My sister just moved into her first house, and she is wanting to get cable. I have been trying to convince her that a satellite dish is the way to go, because of the huge selection of channels. Her biggest concern is that she thinks satellite will be more expensive that cable. I’ve told her that if you catch a directv deal and get free installation, then the monthly bill is usually lower than with cable. I think I’ve about got her convinced, although she might surprise me. She’s always had a mind of her own, and when she gets something stuck in her head, sometimes she just can’t let it go, even if she knows it isn’t true.
