What Causes Joint Pain?
Joint pain can be caused by any number of factors. One of the most common is arthritis, which affects many people in a variety of ways. Osteoarthritis is an inflammation of the elements making up the affected joint. The inflammation is often brought about by injury, disease, aging, heredity or a combination of these factors. Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune condition wherein the body’s protective systems actually attack the joints, creating a condition called synovitis, or inflammation of the synovial membrane that helps to cushion the joint and prevent damage to the associated articulating bones. Both conditions can be treated with a number of remedies.
