My wife is the kind of person that HAS to keep her feet warm at all times.  A few winters ago, she discovered those Ugg boots, and now she has them on every year, almost ever day from the end of October to the end of February.  Only when all the snow is gone does she start wearing regular shoes again.  I’m the complete opposite. I will wear sandals until the snow covers the top of my feet.  Then I’ll either only stay on the shoveled paths, or I’ll wear shoes.  I still have a hard time putting boots on though.
