Disney Goes Biometric

The last time I went to Disney World when I ran my ticket through the machine I was also asked to place my fingers on a pad.  I was not sure why they wanted me to do this but as it was a condition of entering the park everyone was complying.  What Disney was doing was biometric authentication that is right out of James Bond.  They actually take biometric measurements of each person’s hands as the enter the park. Then the next time that ticket enters the park the biometric measurements are compared.  There is no longer the possibility of family and friends passing tickets around to save on admission
