The Great Wall of China is in every Asian Holiday guide around. One cannot visit Asia without traveling to the Great Wall of China. This is a cultural icon of China and is a recognized landmark throughout the world. The wall was built, rebuilt and maintained between the 5th century BC and the 16th century to in protection of the Chines Empire. The Chinese did a lot to protect this man, and whilst building this great stonewall, many Chinese men lost their lives. It is estimated that over 3 million Chinese died whilst building the great wall of china over it’s long building process.
